I'm the type of girl
that wears clothes a size or two too big
to hide the little things underneath
that seem so big in front of the mirror

That looks at a dress in a store
then looks down at her body
then turns away without even picking it up

that looks at pictures in magazines
Of women with no flaws
And hates her body for not being that way

That tries on more fitted clothes
And can only wear them once or twice
Before convincing herself she's too big.

That knows that perfection doesn't exist
Yet is unhappy with what she has
Even though it's not as bad as she thinks
